Fake 4-strand braid

Hey guys,

Some of you might feel difficult to braid a 4-strand braid, don’t worry guys if you can’t do it let’s just fake it.Today I’m gonna show you a fake 4-strand braid. This actually makes your braid look more thick and voluminous.

•Firstly side part or middle part your hair and grab some section of hair from the front and do a normal 3-strand braid on either sides and bring it back and tie it with an elastic. I’ve done two braids on either sides. This is just an optional step.

•Now divide your hair into two sections and do a two regular 3-strand braids.

•Next combine these two plaits and tie them with an elastic as a single braid. If there are any gaps between those two braids pin them from back with bobby pins.

•Lastly,if you want your braid to be more voluminous pancake your braid and adjust it as you want.

This is the final look of this braid.I hope you’ll definitely give this a try.

•Firstly, side part your hair and with some section of hair in the front make a lace braid and tie it with an elastic.

•Now grab two small sections of hair from either sides ,tie it with an elastic and flip that small pony inwards.Pull some hair from that to make it look more messy and voluminous.

•Again take two small sections from either side, now tie them to the left side and flip the pony.Next, again take two sections, tie them to the right side and flip the pony.

•Continue doing this to your entire hair, tying sections once to the left and then right and flipping them.

Many of you guys might feel difficult in braiding you hair so today I’m gonna show you 2 easy elastic braids, for this you don’t need to braid your hair. Just grab some hair elastics and let’s get started.

1.Elastic braid:

For this braid all you need is a comb and some elastics.

    • Side part your hair and tie your hair into a side pony tail. Now take two small sections and secure it with an elastic . Make sure that is tight (for demo purpose I made it loose).

    • Now flip that small pony tail inwards and just pancake it.

    • Again take another two small sections and tie with an elastic and flip that small pony tail inwards.
    • Continue doing this to the whole hair and you’ll get this simple elastic braid.
    • After completing pancake your braid just to make it more fuller and voluminous.

This is same as the elastic braid, all you need to do is just flipping the small pony tails inwards.

    • Middle part your hair and take two small sections of hair from either side to the back and tie those sections with an elastic.
    • Now flip that small pony tail inwards (same as the elastic braid)

  • Continue the above step until you reach nape of your neck and secure it with an elastic. If you want take small section of hair and wrap it around the elastic just to hide the elastic and bobby pin it.

3.Half-Fishtail pony:

This is a cute everyday hairstyle. This can be done on any type of hair.

  • Firstly, grab some section of hair from your crown area and make a puff.
  • Now make a high pony tail and take small section of hair from the side of the pony tail and make a fish tail braid and secure it with an elastic.

8 Hair care tips for dry hair.

Hey guys,

In this blog I’m gonna share some of my hair care tips which we need to consider to avoid your hair becoming dry and frizzy.

1.Brushing your hair thoroughly before washing:

It is very important to brush your hair before washing it ,as it spreads all the natural oils evenly throughout your hair giving it a protective coat.
The absence of any sort of tangled strands makes it much easier to effectively rinse your hair and make sure you comb your hair starting from the bottom to the roots.

2.Washing your hair less often:

By over-washing your hair you are stripping it off its natural oils which results in your hair becoming dull, dry and prone to more breakage.
I would recommend to wash your hair not more than 3 times a week.

3.It’s all about water temperatures:

Warm water opens up hair cuticles to allow shampoo and conditioner to do their job, whereas cold water helps to close the cuticles and seal moisture and helps your hair look shiny and healthy.
So if you take warm shower,at the end don’t forget to rinse with cold water.

4.Alcohol free shampoo:

When you buy your shampoo make sure you definitely have a quick look at the ingredients.
Alcohol makes your hair frizzy, a helpful ingredient is Glycerin.
I would recommend to aim for the shampoos that are rich in glycerin and alcohol free.

5.Conditioning your hair:

Using conditioner on a regular basis is important for your hair, but use it only to the ends.
I wouldn’t recommend using conditioner directly to the scalp. After this rinse your hair super well with cold water to get all the product out of it otherwise your hair loses its healthy shine.

6.Handling your wet hair:

When your hair is wet it is important not to rub or brush your hair, instead try gently pressing and squeezing the moisture from the hair without rubbing with the towel.
When u rub your hair it will create frizz so gentle squeeze removes more moisture and keeps your hair smooth.I would recommend using soft material like t-shirt instead of using a towel.

7.Applying hair serum:

Apply any of your favorite hair serum when your hair is wet. Hair serum controls frizz, eases out tangles and reduces breakage to give you silky and shinny hair.

8. Minimize blow drying:

Let your hair air dry until it’s about 90% dry and then blow dry your hair at the end.
While Blow drying,if your dryer has the option of blowing at reduced heat definitely go for it.By doing this it makes your hair less frizzy.

I hope some of these tips might be useful for you and if you want more hair care routines and for any suggestions feel free to drop a comment below.

I think the most common problem for men and women are dark circles which occur due to lack of sleep, giving more stress for your eyes or when the blood vessels surrounding the eyes becomes engorged. Here are some easy home remedies to get rid of dark circles.

1.Coconut oil:

•Apply pure coconut oil to the area affected at night and leave it the whole night.Next day wipe it off with a tissue and wash your face.

•This is a simple effective home remedy.Do this regularly for about 10 days for best results.

Take a potato and wash it off with water and don’t peel  off the skin as that skin is very rich in calcium and iron which your eyes need.

•Cut two slices of potato and keep them in refrigerator for atleast 10 minutes,Place those chilled potatoes under your eyes for 15 minutes.

Another way is to grate the potato and squeeze that into a bowl. Then you’ll get juice.Apply that juice directly and leave it for 15 minutes and wash it off with normal water.

•Do this daily for atleast 10 days for best results.

Take  fresh lemon juice and by using a cotton ball apply that juice around your eyes.Leave it for about 10 minutes and rinse it off.The vitamin C present in lemon helps to remove dark circles under the eyes.

•Do this once daily for a  few weeks.

These are the three simple and easy home remedies , give them a try and if you have any questions comment down  below and share it with your friends.

DIY Minnie mouse headband

Hotglue gun or fevicol
Fabric of your choice

Let’s get started:
Firstly cut the cardboard into Minnie ears shape. My cardboard is not that much thick so I’ve taken 4 cardboard ears and glued two ears together. So now we have 2 cardboard ears.

Now trace these ears over the fabric of your choice and cut it out. When you cut the fabric make sure to cut it 3-4 cm more outside the traced line so you’ll get extra fabric around the edges of the ears.Cut 4 pieces of fabric.

Now glue the fabric to the cardboard ears to hide all of that ugly cardboard. When you are gluing the edges make sure you glue one side first and next the other side overlapping it for more cleaner look.

Like this make the other ear also. Now for a bow take another color fabric and cut into rectangular shape.

Make foldings at the center of the fabric and take another small piece of fabric and wrap it around the folding and glue it.Cut off any excess fabric and shape the bow with your hand.

Now decorate your bow with beads of your choice.

Now its time to put all the pairs together:

Glue the DIY ears to the headband and make sure that the ears are 2-3 inches apart.Hold down them for atleast 30 sec to let the glue set.Final touch is to add the bow at the center of the band and for extra security glue the bow to the ears also.

Wola! There you have this cute little Minnie mouse headband. If you have recreated this tag your pic to #lilmunchkinn in Instagram. I’d like to see yours.
